NATUROPATHIC HERBAL MEDICINE
Elaine was trained by Dorothy Hall in
Classical Herbal Medicine
which emphasises treatment of the whole person and not the
dis-ease .
A Herbal Medicine consultation incorporates a full evaluation of
the client, following which small doses of Herbal Extracts and
Bach Flower Remedies / Supplements / Dietary / Lifestyle advice
are prescribed or recommended - to facilitate the healing
process and nourish the body.

IRIDOLOGY
...
is a diagnostic tool which is utilised during the consultation. This is non-
invasive and involves the examination of the client’s iris with a special torch.
The iris signs seen can then be used to evaluate what body processes are
creating disruptions to a client’s health and this information helps to ensure
that the treatment given is absolutely tailored to the client’s individual
needs.

BACH FLOWER REMEDIES
… are extracts from plants and flowers, having a healing effect
on emotional imbalances, which can contribute to illnesses,
disease or distress. Probably the most commonly known of
these is Rescue Remedy, which is used for treatment of emotional
/ physical shocks.

Bowen is safe to use on anyone, from the newborn to the elderly
– and is great for aches and pains of pregnancy too !
The treatment itself involves the application of a
series of cross-fibre / rolling movements on the soft tissue of body,
followed by short ‘waiting periods’. The Bowen ‘moves’ are
light, gentle and very precise and there is no forceful
manipulation. The precise location of the Bowen moves correlate
with the latest research into
the meridian energy system, acupoints and myofascial trigger
point theory.
Bowen therapy not only assists the soft tissue to overcome
problems, but due to its apparent influence on the body's energy
and meridian systems, appears to have an effect on the body's
organs and their functions.
Bowen Therapy can effectively assist the body to
regain its natural range of movement and balance.
It is a catalyst for the body to start the natural healing

AROMATHERAPY MINI FACIAL...
this sublimely relaxing treatment
commences
with a cleanse and gentle exfoliation of
the face, a rejuvenating
massage of the muscles and skin of the face and neck with a blend of
pure carrier and essential oils and followed by the application of a nourishing
clay face masque, application of steamed towels and moisturiser.
Last but not least .. this treatment is completed with a
soothing scalp massage !
This treatment uses
Uskincare
products for cleansing, toning and moisturising
along with a French-clay face masque – according to skin type.
Whilst
this masque is applied you can also enjoy a relaxing hand /
foot massage or experience some Reiki.

PREGNANCY
MASSAGE
…
focuses on the special needs of the mum-to be, as her body
progresses through the dramatic physical and emotional changes
of the childbirth experience - pregnancy, birth, and
post-partum. Massage can alleviate
some of the common aches/ pains and ailments of pregnancy in
addition to promoting relaxation, better sleep and increasing
blood and lymphatic circulation … which can relieve the common
complaint of swelling.
Massage is good for baby too ! Research has shown
that the
unborn baby can be affected by the stress levels experienced by
its mother.
(Massage has an indirect relaxing effect on the baby as the
mother releases oxytoxcin and prolactin as a result of skin
stimulation).
Post-natally,
massage provides support for the new mum with the physical and
emotional strains of mothering.
Caring for mum-to be physically,
emotionally, and spiritually is of utmost importance – allow
Elaine to work with you during your pregnancy to facilitate a
healthier and more comfortable pregnancy.
Elaine
uses a ‘body cushion’… for mum’s comfort in lying ‘face down’ in
the 1st and
2nd trimesters
. Thereafter the massage is carried out with mum in
the comfortable side lying position, well supported by pillows.
Caring for mum-to be physically, emotionally, and spiritually is
of utmost importance – allow Elaine to work with you during your
pregnancy to facilitate a healthier and more comfortable
pregnancy.

SWISS REFLEX THERAPY
(a.k.a. SOLE
REVIVAL !)
… uses
the techniques of REFLEXOLOGY – which is the ancient art of
stimulating the body’s healing forces through the application of
firm pressure, systematically to various parts of the feet … ALONG WITH
AROMATHERAPY – as essential oils can greatly enhance the effects
of this treatment.
This treatment incorporates the following:

REIKI
ENERGY TREATMENTS AND MASSAGE
…
Reiki
is a powerful yet simple, natural healing system, having
originated in Japan in the early 1900’s. Treatments are
fully clothed and during a Reiki session the therapist places
their hands in different positions on the client’s body and
allows the Reiki energy to flow. Reiki enables a feeling
of wellbeing and inner strength and activates the body’s own
innate healing processes … it is both relaxing and re-energising
and is a wonderful antidote for stress and tension. Elaine
can also incorporate crystal healing in your Reiki session, if
required.
A Reiki healing treatment usually takes around 45 mins ($45) but
can be tailored to your requirements.
REIKI ENERGY
MASSAGE PACKAGE
The Reiki Energy Massage Package incorporates Reiki … to
simply help you feel more connected to life, along with
peace of mind and spirit, together with an Aromatherapy
massage; this most tranquil of treatments is one of the
most powerful ways to calm and soothe your body and
spirit.
Reiki is activated at the beginning of your massage with a
series of hand positions that will soothe the most active
mind. Then follows an Aromatherapy / Swedish style
massage, using firm but relaxing strokes, followed by
further activation of Reiki to complete the treatment.
Throughout your massage, such precious essential oils as
Sandalwood, Jasmine, Orange blossom, Lavender and
Frankincense may be used in the oil blend …all of which
will help to relax and soothe your body and mind.

SEATED
/ CORPORATE MASSAGE
...
is a ‘ through-the-clothes’ massage to the back, shoulders,
arms, head and neck, while seated. This treatment is similar
to shiatsu.
The massage takes place in an ergonomically designed chair in which the client
sits facing forward, embraced by comfortable padding, which naturally stretches
the back and helps to reduce muscle tension in the upper body. While not
primarily a corrective treatment, it will leave you with a greater sense of
well-being - apart from relaxing muscles, increasing circulation and general 'tonification'
!
This type of massage is ideal for
